The time had come to leave the beautiful place of Fayetteville. Our Honda was packed and we were ready to start our adventure. First destination was Colorado Springs. To get there you have a whole days driving through Kansas which is not the most interesting place to be. If you thought Denmark was flat and windy, Kansas is the ultimate winner! Someone told us it was a 15 hours drive, so when we arrived in Colorado Springs after only 12 hours we didn't know what to do. We ended up spending the three hours extra using internet in Starbucks and (vips!) we were back on schedule! After a night at the YWAM base and a day rock climbing in the Garden of the Gods (see pictures), we ended up camping in the middle of nowhere watching a beautiful sunset and praying for no rain and less wing. We are pretty sure our tent was supposed to have some more parts and more zippers that was actually working, but we managed pretty well anyway. The best part of the night was probably when Hope had unpacked her nice, big sleeping bag, and the foreigners started unpacking theirs, discovering that Hope had packed the sleeping bags from when she was a kid for us.
We are now in Vail, Colorado, visiting Hopes dads cousin who had welcomed us warmly and is going to help us get the best 4th of July we have ever had!

Team building - Hope is testing Hannahs trust in her. We almost had to send
this to Evan with the words this was the last picture we got of Hannah, but
luck saved us from that. |

So exciting :D I am enjoying the pictures of you three, laughing as I'm reading about sleepingbags that are too small and team building. Ha, you are cute.
Really cool to see pics of your adventures.
